Sorry — but I’ve been a magnet making machine for the last few days.
I was invited to set up a booth at the Abell Street Fair in a few weeks, which I’m really excited about. But since almost all of my prints are custom orders (either for color, or content, or both) they’re not really something I can pack up and sell on the spot. So I decided to turn my newfound love of magnet-making into a backup plan…
I do have a catalog of available prints and options so if people are interested they can place an order — and now I have hundreds of magnets ready to sell, because I feel like I should have something there that’s tangible that folks could leave with if they liked them.
And then naturally, I freaked out, and convinced myself that no one is going to buy magnets! Gah! I spent money on supplies for things that people might not want! So, I added them to my Etsy shop.
Go buy some! Unless we’re related, in which case, don’t worry about it — you’ll be getting magnets for Christmas. Haha! No, I’m not kidding.
When I’m not sitting around making magnets (which is a great deterrent to sitting around and eating everything in sight, btw) I’ve been watching Mad Men.
I’ve mentioned before that we don’t have cable… and way back when we DID have cable, I was late to jump on the Mad Men bandwagon, even though I’d heard all good things.
So, thanks to Netflix, I’ve been working my way through the first four seasons, and I love it.
Really though, the Drapers are horrible people. No wonder everyone is drunk all the time.
Admittedly, I still love Don though — even though he’s a philandering scoundrel. What?!
